November Masters Championships Set to Showcase Australia’s Most Experienced Cricketers

Cricket Australia Masters is proud to announce two major national events this November, celebrating the skill, longevity and passion of our most experienced Masters cricketers. Across Canberra and Albury, players aged 70, 75 and 80+ will take the field in two significant championships that highlight the strength and growth of Masters cricket nationwide.

Over 70s National Championships – Canberra

28 November – 3 December 2026

Canberra will host the 2026 Over 70s National Championships, bringing together teams from across Australia for six days of competitive, high‑quality Masters cricket. The nation’s capital provides the perfect backdrop for a tournament that continues to grow in stature each year, showcasing players who remain committed to excellence, fitness and the spirit of the game.

The Over 70s division has become one of the strongest and most admired categories within Masters cricket, with players demonstrating remarkable skill and resilience. This year’s championship promises tight contests, strong team culture and a celebration of cricket for life.

Over 75s & 80s Celebration of Cricket – National Championships, Albury

8 – 13 November 2026

Earlier in the month, Albury will host a special combined championship for the Over 75s and Over 80s divisions. This event is more than a tournament—it is a celebration of decades of dedication to cricket. These players represent the heart of Masters cricket, carrying with them a lifetime of experience, leadership and love for the game.

The Celebration of Cricket format honours the achievements of our most senior competitors, providing an opportunity for states and regions to come together in recognition of the players who have shaped Masters cricket across generations.
